Banded Jasper Pendant in Gunmetal Wire
This banded jasper has bold layers of golden tan, cream, rust, and deep brown running through the stone. The patterns almost look like a desert landscape viewed from above, with every line and curve formed naturally.
I wrapped it by hand in gunmetal wire with an open frame around the stone and plenty of curls and scrollwork above it. The dark metallic finish gives the pendant an old world look while bringing out the warm colors in the jasper.
Jasper is traditionally associated with grounding, stability, and endurance. Even without the meaning, this is a striking natural stone with a pattern that will never be repeated.
