The natural spiral inside this ammonite is the whole reason this piece works. I paired its warm brown and honey tones with a polished purple amethyst bead, then wrapped them together in bright copper.
Copper curls frame the fossil without covering its chambers, while the amethyst adds a strong bit of color near the bottom. The large circular bail continues the spiral theme and gives the entire pendant an old curiosity cabinet feel.
