This one of a kind pendant brings together an ancient ocean fossil and a pale stone from the North Carolina mountains.
The dark fossil Mako tooth is paired with a polished North Carolina sunstone in a soft peach color. I wrapped them together by hand in copper wire, adding open spirals and curved details that frame both pieces without hiding their natural character.
The contrast between the dark tooth, gentle color of the sunstone, and warm copper gives this piece a balance of rugged and delicate. It is bold enough to stand out while still carrying the earthy look that has always been at the heart of The Steampunk Prospector.
