This faceted smoky quartz catches the light from every direction, shifting between clear gray, warm brown, and flashes of silver. Natural inclusions remain visible inside the stone, giving it character beneath the polished facets.
I set the stone by hand in copper wire with individual prongs and a tightly woven circular frame. The open space above the quartz gives the pendant an unusual shape that feels part celestial instrument and part unearthed artifact.
Smoky quartz is traditionally associated with grounding, protection, and clearing away unwanted energy. It is also simply a beautiful form of quartz with an understated, earthy color.
